En el frío invierno de 1918, Tomás, un joven que se dedica a la fotografía “post mortem”, termina en un pequeño pueblo húngaro. Los extraños ruidos nocturnos, la hostilidad de las gentes, las muertes misteriosas y las figuras sombrías que aparecen en sus fotografías lo impulsan a largarse cuanto antes. Pero Tomás regresa a la aldea para investigar las intenciones de los fantasmas y encontrar una manera de librarse de ellos.

In the cold winter of 1918, Tomás, a young man who is dedicated to “post mortem” photography, ends up in a small Hungarian town. The strange nocturnal noises, the hostility of the people, the mysterious deaths and the gloomy figures that appear in his photographs impel him to leave as soon as possible. But Tomás returns to the village to investigate the intentions of the ghosts and find a way to get rid of them.
