Thrillers that will take your breath away, intoxicating dreams of science fiction, high-impact horror, together with the most imaginative and innovative proposals of fantasy will once again break convictions in the great celebration of fantastic cinema in Galicia. The 49th edition of the Curtas Festival de lo Imaginario de Vilagarcía de Arousa, which will take place from October 22 to 31, 2021 with a selection of fantastic genre films and short films from around the world.

Curtas, the largest fantasy film festival in Galicia, will once again bet on the face-to-face format, the true essence of the event, taking into account the current health situation and taking the appropriate measures to guarantee everyone’s safety. Comics, literature and other forms of artistic expression, as well as first-rate guests, will once again be part of a fantastic program.

On February 24, the period for receiving works in competition will open in the different sections in competition. The platforms for submitting works as well as the bases for participation can be consulted through the official website curtas.org.
