A great selection of the best of world fantastic cinema will meet at Curtas Festival do Imaxinario with titles such as “The Spine of Night”, an animated film directed by Philip Gelatt and Morgan Galen King, which takes us to a fantasy land in the that we will know the fight of heroes of different times against a powerful evil force; “Son”, written and directed by Ivan Kavanagh, in which a mother will go to the extreme to protect her child from a dangerous cult; or the story of family curses from “The Accursed” by Kathryn Michelle and Elizabeta Vidovic.

From Galicia, and to the rhythm of black metal, will come the rural terror of “Jacinto”, by Javi Camino; and from Taiwan “The Sadness”, the debut of Rob Jabbaz whose world premiere has just taken place at the Locarno festival, will do the same to dye Curtas’ screen red in a special session that will remain in the memory of the attendees during years.

The 49th edition of Curtas Festival do Imaxinario de Vilagarcía de Arousa will take place from October 22 to 31, and has the support of the Vilagarcía de Arousa City Council and the Deputation of Pontevedra, and the sponsorship of Cafés Candelas, Gadis and Planet Horror.
