Every year, FestivalinLA.com selects a collection of the best festival posters from around the world that are considered to have a great emotional impact on the viewer. 65 works from among the five hundred shortlisted are, according to the editor, film critic and writer based in Los Angeles (California), José Alberto Hermosillo, the best festival posters in the world.

This year, Curtas Festival do Imaxinario has made it onto the list, thanks to the incredible work created by the great Argentine artist Flavio Greco Paglia. “The splendid image represents the figure of Cthulhu, a winged creature with a humanoid body, an octopus head and tentacles around its mouth,” explains FestivalinLA. “It also makes an allusion to the 2001 horror film Dagon.”
