Marcus Nispel, the German director behind the successful remakes of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Friday the 13th, among others, will receive the “Master of the Fantastic” award at the Curtas Festival do Imaxinario 2025. Alongside him, Diana Peñalver, the lead actress in Braindead: Your Mother Ate My Dog, will receive the “Icon of the Fantastic” award.
