The lights go down and the curtain falls on one of the most vibrant and exciting editions in the history of Curtas Festival do Imaxinario. These have been days of intensity, packed venues, and a shared energy that will remain engraved in the memories of everyone who crossed the threshold of the fantastic in Vilagarcía.
Today, the prevailing feeling is gratitude. Infinite gratitude to the great family that makes the magic happen year after year.
Thank you to the organization team, who poured their heart and soul into every detail, working tirelessly in the shadows so that everything could shine. Thank you to the image, sound, and lighting technicians, the invisible craftsmen who ensured every screening and concert looked and felt impeccable. Thank you to the communication team for taking the voice of Curtas further than ever before.
A very special mention goes to the beating heart of this festival: our volunteers. Their smiles, their commitment, and their inexhaustible energy in assisting the audience, guests, and managing logistics have simply been the driving force of this edition. Thank you for answering the call with such generosity.
We are deeply grateful for the institutional support, vital for this dream to keep growing: the Concello de Vilagarcía, the Deputación de Pontevedra, and the Xunta de Galicia, for believing in fantastic culture as a driving force for our community. And, of course, to our sponsors De Angeles Films, Gadis, and Rei Zentolo, as well as all our collaborators, whose commitment to supporting something different allows us to continue dreaming big.
But, above all, thank you to the audience. To the initiates who filled every session, who participated with passion, and who have turned Vilagarcía into the undisputed capital of the genre. You are the soul of Curtas.
The cycle closes, but we are not stopping. The team is already dreaming and working to make Curtas 2026 an even better, bigger, and more exciting experience. The threshold will open again next year.
Thank you for being part of this wonderful madness.
