Brief biography of Enriquez Gómez Pato, journalist, writer, playwright, ethnographer and critical and daring humorist who, during the tough years of Franco’s regime, exerted intense activity in Verín (Ourense), in defense of the disadvantaged. His main weapon was the humor with which he challenged the power springs of the dictatorship and made that beaten and passive society laugh.
