60 segundos de Terror

Within the framework of the 2025 edition, and in collaboration with Producciones Mutantes and screenwriter Ángel Agudo (Apocalypse Z), this program was developed as an initiative aimed at detecting, supporting, and showcasing new talent in the field of fantastic cinema. The program was designed as an audiovisual creation contest, inviting young filmmakers to develop a one-minute short film (though all of them exceeded this length), specifically conceived to be filmed and subsequently have its world premiere within the context of Curtas Festival do Imaxinario. Following a selection and creative mentoring process, screenwriter Ángel Agudo chose five projects that were filmed and will have their world premiere during the festival, becoming part of the official program as the event’s own original content. The produced short films to be screened are: 

• Deep Sound, by Rubi Giráldez González (Spain, 2025) World premiere
• Respira, by Luis and Fernando Camacho (Spain, 2025) World premiere
• Filete, by Francisco Leslie López (Spain, 2025) World premiere
• (Breve) Asesinato en Vilagarcía, by the Golpe brothers (Spain, 2025) World premiere
• Azebac, by Jorge Blanco (Spain, 2025) World premiere
