A GREEN FESTIVAL
At Curtas Festival do Imaxinario, we firmly believe in the power of culture to transform lives and in the responsibility to do so in a sustainable way.
We believe that film festivals not only have the power to change lives through culture, but also to motivate and promote sustainable practices among attendees, employees and partners. In developing our event, we seek to create memorable experiences while caring for and respecting the environment.
We signed the Sustainable Culture Pact, as part of Proxecta, to integrate sustainability into our work and guarantee equality and diversity in our performance, the adoption of accessibility measures, minimizing energy consumption or implementing circularity criteria, among other measures and actions.

The Curtas Festival do Imaxinario has been awarded the Yale University Green Event Certification, at the Platinum level. With this certification, Yale recognizes the festival as an eco-friendly event that successfully integrates sustainability – the balance between people, planet and prosperity – into its planning and implementation.
