1st Industry Meetings & Project Market for Fantastic Film in Galicia
Curtas Festival do Imaxinario organizes the first edition of Curtas Imaxina, an industry meeting day focused on networking and connecting creators with projects and professional companies from the film industry.
The goal of this initiative is to create a connection space between authors with projects in development or production and professionals working across creation, production, and distribution.
We aim to foster a collaborative environment that allows professionals and new talent to connect, expanding their network of synergies within the Fantastic Film Industry.

WHO CAN APPLY?
- Individuals (directors, screenwriters, and industry professionals) or legal entities (independent production companies) over 18 years of age.
- Both emerging talents/students and established professionals with proven track records.
- Essential requirement: physical attendance of at least one representative to present and defend the project.
WHAT PROJECTS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Feature films, short films, and series (fiction, animation, or documentary) in development or production within the fantasy, science fiction, or horror genres.
- 100% free registration via the official application form, submitting a single PDF (
PROJECT_TITLE.pdf, max. 10 MB) including technical sheet, logline, synopsis, treatment or bible, director’s note, and bio-filmography.
FORMAT & AWARD
- THE PITCH: A maximum of 15 selected projects will have 10 minutes to present, with flexible visual support options.
- ONE-TO-ONE MEETINGS: Scheduled meetings to test commercial viability and find strategic partners.
- THE AWARD: A jury composed of guest companies and professionals will award the prize for “Best Curtas Imaxina Project”, endowed with €666.
