Visions of the Imaginary
From classical illustration to the vanguard of conceptual art, the exhibitions at Curtas Festival do Imaxinario form a visual map of the worlds we inhabit and those we only dare to dream of. Each year, our rooms are transformed into galleries of the extraordinary, bringing together the work of national and international artists whose vision has been distinguished by technical mastery and the ability to expand the boundaries of the fantastic genre.
This experience is completed with our spectacular exhibitions of original props and replicas, where fiction breaks through the screen to materialize before the viewer. Iconic objects, costumes, and collector’s pieces that defined the history of film and television come together at our festival, allowing unique proximity to the artifacts that gave life to the great myths of popular culture.

Infinity Heroes Showroom
Marvel superheroes land in Vilagarcía. Walk through a unique experience with life-size figures, helmet replicas, and collector’s items that bring the magic of Thor, Iron Man, and Spiderman to our town.
Monstrorama
The most terrifying creatures in cinema await you. Cross the threshold of “Monstrorama,” a visual journey through the figures and monsters that marked the genre, recreating the dark magic of our worst nightmares.
Santipérez, a life illustrating nightmares
Explore the most visceral hyperrealism of this master of horror. A journey through shadows and anatomical detail where terror and fantasy come to life in every stroke, gathering decades of art dedicated to drawing the abyss.

The Year of the Bat
